About Nick

Nick is an experienced operational CFO with a track record in venture capital-backed startups, private equity-owned businesses, and Fortune 500 companies. He is passionate about financial reporting accuracy, people development, and extracting incremental value from legacy systems and processes.

Nick began his career at Chevron Corporation in a finance leadership development program, before leaving to pursue an opportunity with Young Catholic Professionals (YCP), an organization that had a mission aligned with his passions. After helping YCP grow from 5 to 15 chapters nationwide in two years, Nick went on to work as a CFO for startups that raised over $10 million in seed capital, worked on a $150 million/30-acre commercial real estate development, and recently served as CFO of a $100+ million residential plumbing & HVAC contractor, which he shepherded through a private equity sale and subsequent merger.

Nick graduated with honors from Texas A&M with a B.B.A. in Finance and minor in Economics. During his time at Texas A&M, Nick served as president of the Catholic Students Association and was involved in various other student activities including Titans of Investing (Group XII), Mays Horizons Program, Conference on Student Government Association, Freshmen Business Initiative, and Freshmen Leaders in Progress (FLiP).

Nick has spent several years giving his time as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters and volunteering for Texas A&M’s Young Alumni Advisory Council. Additionally, he has sat on boards for the Fr. Nesti Center for Faith and Culture at the University of St. Thomas and Dig World Amusement Park in Houston, Texas.

Nick lives in Denver, Colorado with his wife, Shannon, and their two kids.
